We feel that the demand for Web Designers will increase as more and more commercial Web sites are established. Most Web sites are established as part of a complete "package" (e.g. Web Space, Domain Name Setup, and Programming of Home Pages).
Firms established on the Web will often need updating and additions to their Web sites, and due to the high cost of hiring an in-house Webmaster, they often out-source projects. They look to their Web Access Provider and realize that their provider only handles complete "packages."

Our goal, therefore, is to bridge the gap between firms and talented Web Designers. We maintain a compendium including the contact names and addresses of over 15,000 firms which have established themselves on the Web. Once we have compiled a substantial list of Web Designers, we can proceed to the next step--bringing firms and Web Designers together.
Using traditional methods (post-mail, ad print) this goal can be achieved.
Obviously to reach such a goal involves time, effort, and expense. Internet Impact, founded by Web Designers, would like to hear your suggestions as to the best way to distribute these expenses in the future.
